People interested in flying have reason to let their enthusiasm soar this weekend. More than 100 planes will be part of Aviation Nation 2009 this Saturday and Sunday at Nellis Air Force Base. A Nellis spokesman says the air show is expected to bring out more than 100-thouasnd spectators who'll see such aircraft as a World War Two-era PT-17 Steerman bi-plane to a new F-22 fighter jet. The Air Force Thunderbirds will highlight the show. Buses will provide free trips to and from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The public will otherwise not be allowed entry into the base at Nellis.
