Big Tourism Expected for Fourth of July

A big tourism weekend is forecast for Las Vegas this Fourth of July holiday. Despite the slow economy, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority expects some 284,000 people will travel to Southern Nevada over the three-day period. The number is about the same as last year. The LVCVA also estimates those visitors will pump about $163 million in non-gaming revenue into the local economy.
