The local bodybuilding couple accused of killing their personal assistant is heading to jail. On Friday, Craig Titus was sentenced to 55 years in prison, with a chance for parole after 21 years. His wife, Kelly Ryan, got 26 years behind bars with a chance for parole after six years. Titus pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for the December 2005 death of Melissa James, while Ryan pleaded guilty to arson and battery. James' body was found inside a burned car in the desert west of Las Vegas. Earlier this week, a man convicted in a murder-for-hire plot connected to the case was sentenced to 8-25 years in prison. Prosecutors say 36-year-old Nelson Ronald Brady tried to hire a hit man to kill three witnesses in the case against Titus and Ryan.
