Bus Driver Pleads Guilty To Lesser Charges

Clark County School District bus driver Richard Stephen, accused of molesting a five-year-old girl, has tentatively agreed to enter a guilty plea to lesser charges. During the preliminary hearing on Monday, Stephen's attorney William Terry said his client would plead guilty to two counts of attempted lewdness with a minor when he's arraigned on July 29th. Stephen was arrested in June and booked on ten counts relating to lewdness with a minor under the age of 14 and sexual assault. He remains held in the Clark County Detention Center on $80,000 bond, and could face up to 20 years in prison on each count.
