Candidates' Relatives Visit Valley

With just more than a week before Election Day, both Presidential campaigns are keeping their focus on Nevada and in particular, the Las Vegas Valley.  Following a Saturday rally with Barack Obama that drew some 18,000 to Bonanza High School, his wife Michelle Obama hosted a campaign event Monday night at Dolittle Park, near downtown Las Vegas.  She touted the Obama-Biden economic plan and encouraged supporters to cast their ballot in early voting.  On the other side, John McCain's daughter Meghan McCain greeted volunteers at McCain-Palin local campaign headquarters in Henderson, and at the state Republican party headquarters in Las Vegas on Monday afternoon.  Also, Sarah Palin's brother Chuck Heath appeared at campaign headquarters Monday evening.
