Federal Crackdown Nets Hundreds of Arrests



Local law enforcement announced today that 315 fugitives have been rounded up this year in Southern Nevada as part of a federal crackdown known as "Operation Falcon." The operation is made up of federal, state and local agencies that have teamed up to target fugitives wanted for robbery, murder, sexual assault, and gang activity. Statewide, a total of 409 fugitives have been arrested, with around 91,000 taken into custody nationwide as part of "Operation Falcon."
