Fort Hood Death Toll At 13; Investigation Continues

The death toll from Thursday's shootings at Fort Hood, Texas is now at 13.  More than 30 are also reported wounded as a result of the shooting spree at a soldier readiness center.  Military personnel at Fort Hood observed a day of mourning on Friday, and President Obama ordered all American flags at federal buildings and bases flown at half-staff through Veterans Day.  A U.S. Army colonel who once worked with the man accused in the attack says Major Nidal Malik Hasan had recently made comments condemning U.S. foreign policy.  Hasan remains hospitalized after being shot multiple times, but is expected to survive.
