Hearing Scheduled For Mob Museum

The plan to make the so-called Mob Museum a reality could be delayed if a preliminary injunction sought by Flagship Construction Company is granted by Clark County District Court Judge Susan Johnson. Yesterday, Johnson issued a temporary restraining order against the city and scheduled a court hearing on the motion for Friday. If the preliminary injunction is granted, progress on the museum could be halted while Flagship's lawsuit against the city moves forward. Flagship claims the city wrongly awarded a construction contract for the museum to APCO Construction.
