The financially-wracked Boulder Dam Hotel is closing its doors tomorrow until further notice. The board of the Boulder City Museum and Historical Association voted earlier this week to shut down the historic hotel due to a lack of funds after failing to secure a cash infusion to keep the hotel, restaurant and museum going until next June. The board says if 250-thousand dollars can be raised by September 10th, the hotel would be able to reopen. It added that due to lost revenue from bookings that will be canceled, the cost of reopening will be more than that of keeping the hotel open.
