A 58-year-old Las Vegas man is the first Nevada resident get life in prison on federal child pornography charges. Robert Latham was convicted last year after federal agents found over 500 images of child porn, labeled by name and category, on his computer in 2005. Prosecutors say Latham was was given the life sentence under federal law because he was previously convicted of sexual offenses involving a minor.
