A Las Vegas man who claimed his wife was killed in a home invasion last year was arrested in Utah today for her murder. According to an indictment handed down this week, 53-year-old Thomas William Randolph killed his wife, Sharon Clausse Randolph, along with a man he had hired to kill her, Michael James Miller. Police believe Thomas Randolph staged the incident last May to look like a burglary at the couple's northwest valley home, and that he stood to collect more than $400,000 in insurance from his wife's death. He was previously acquitted of murder charges in Utah for the death of his previous wife back in the 1980s. Thomas Randolph was taken into custody this morning at his mother's house in Clearfield, Utah. He is now awaiting extradition back to Nevada.
