Mobile Home Park Shut Down

A northeast valley mobile home park has been shut down because of safety concerns. Clark County fire inspectors cited the College Inn Mobile Home Park on Lake Mead near Lamb Boulevards for such problem as hazardous wiring, unsafe buildings and a lack of fire hydrants. More than 80 residents of the park have been relocated with the help of county social service workers and private agencies. County officials say the owner of the "College Inn" must either repair or demolish the mobile homes that are unsafe before the trailer park can reopen.
