Clinics on several Clark County Schools campuses are drawing varying opinions from residents. Many residents feel the clinics operated independently by health clinics, offer a valuable service to sick and poor students. On Monday, residents of the Spring Valley neighborhood said they feel the clinic would be misused and make their area look impoverished. The clinics are reportedly funded privately and the school district is only responsible for providing land, utility hookups, and paying staff coordinator to help patients 18-years-old and younger.
