Police are still searching for a man who robbed the Fitzgeralds Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas early this morning. Around 4 a.m. the suspect reportedly walked up to the casino cage and handed the cashier a note demanding money. There are also reports that prior to entering Fitzgerald's the man caused some kind of disturbance at the Golden Nugget, where he was escorted off the property by security guards. The suspect was captured on surveillance. He appears to be either Hispanic or light-skinned African American, with a stocky build, about 5'10" to 6' tall, 180-190 pounds, between 35 and 45 years old. Anyone with information is asked to contact Metro or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
