Second Swine Flu Death in Clark County

A 51-year-old person has become the second Clark County resident to die from the H1N1, or swine flu. The Southern Nevada Health District confirms the victim passed away Friday. The person did have an underlying medical condition and had been hospitalized since June 25th. Last week, a 34-year-old Las Vegas man with no underlying medical conditions died due to complications from the H1N1. The health district says three other local patients are hospitalized with confirmed cases of the swine flu. Two of them are in serious condition, and the other is improving.
