The trial for a man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl on video has been postponed again. Jury selection for Chester Stiles was set to begin today, but the judge delayed the proceedings after defense lawyers asked for newly-discovered letters to be removed as evidence. In the letters penned by Stiles, he admits he has been "intrigued" by young girls since he was 15 and talks about his own experience of being sexually abused as a child. He also expresses remorse and writes that he was "guilty of continuing the cycle." Stiles wrote the letters before he was arrested in October of 2007. Police uncovered them in a bottle that he hid in the desert near Blue Diamond Road, after he disclosed the location in a brief interview. Stiles has pleaded "not guilty" to 22 charges, including sexual assault with a child and lewdness with a minor.
