A three-vehicle crash in North Las Vegas left one person dead and another in custody. It happened shortly after midnight Friday morning on Craig Road just east of 5th Street. Police say the driver of a 2001 Chevy pickup was speeding at more than 100 miles-per-hour when he crashed into the back of a motorcycle. The 26-year-old motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and hit by another car. The motorcylcist died at the scene. No one else was injured. Police say the driver of the pickup, 21-year-old Emmanuel Gordian, fled the scene on foot, but was caught and arrested about three hours later. Gordian remains held on felony charges of reckless driving causing death and leaving the scene of a deadly accident. Investigators believe alcohol may have played a role in the crash, and Gordian could face further charges.
