Metro Police are still searching for a suspect in the shooting of a man and woman on Friday. Officers got a call from the staff of UMC about two people who had been shot. When police arrived, they learned the two victims were shot in their vehicles by the same man while he was driving in the area of US 95 and Decatur. The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Jason Charles Burkhart. Burkhart is described as white with red hair and brown eyes, six-feet tall, and weighing 190 pounds. He was driving a maroon sedan with tinted windows and four doors. Anyone with information that can help locate him should call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
