Metro, along with U.S. marshals, have been going door-to-door as part of a five-day joint operation aimed at arresting sex offender fugitives and to ensure compliance. Called "Operation Trick-or-Treat 3," officers are going around reminding registered sex offenders that they cannot have any contact with children during Halloween activities and are not allowed to hand out candy or decorate their homes. Nevada is home to over 65-hundred registered sex offenders.
