Secretary of State Request to “Do Not Call” Political List

CLICK HERE, Enter your registration info, then check the "Do Not Call" box

Now that the caucus is over, the calls to homes, and especially those who don’t want to hear those recorded political announcements, have dwindled away. But you can be sure that in a few months, when both parties have their nominee for president, the calls will begin again.

Many voters thought the National Do Not Call list would stop the nuisance -- but political candidates are exempt from the rule, Secretary of State Ross Miller has unveiled a new website that allows you to put the campaign calls on hold.

People can log onto the website, and express they prefer that they don't want to be contacted with political calls. Be advised though, adding your name to the list doesn't mean the candidates will obey your request to be left alone.

Some voters say if the candidates keep calling, it could do more harm than good.
