McCarran To Increase Parking Fees

It will soon cost more to park at McCarran International Airport. Clark County Aviation officials say they are raising parking rates at the airport, because of the county's budget deficit. Starting September 9th, long-term parking rates will go up from $12 to $14 a day, while the daily fee for valet parking jumps $5, to $21. Even larger increases are planned for limousines, buses and cabs, with prices depending on how many passengers the vehicles hold. This is the first parking rate increase in three years at McCarran. County officials say even with the hikes, McCarran will still be at or near the bottom nationwide for airport parking fees.
