Romney to Campaign Locally for McCain

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney will stump for John McCain in Southern Nevada next week. According to McCain's campaign, Romney will appear at a rally for the presumptive GOP Presidential nominee at the Henderson Convention Center on August 27th. Also that day, Romney will host a $1,000-per-person fundraiser for the state Republican party at a local restaurant. Romney is still considered a finalist to be McCain's running mate. McCain was last in Las Vegas earlier this month, to address the annual convention of Disabled American Veterans at Bally's.
