NV Energy, formerly know as Nevada Power Co. has reached a new, three-year collective-bargaining agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 396. The agreement includes unspecified wage increases for 13-hundred union members for the duration of the agreement. The agreement, which continues until January of 2011 also provides for a cash balance pension, changes in overtime scheduling rules, signing bonuses and a modified holiday schedule.
