State: Nevada's Population to Double by 2028

More than a million more people are expected to call the Silver State home over the next 20 years. According to the State Demographer's Office, Nevada's population is projected to grow by more than 1.3 million, a growth rate of nearly 50%. The office says most of those future implants will affect Southern Nevada, with an additional 1.1 million people moving to Clark and Nye Counties by 2028.
