Woman Shot Outside Downtown Casino



A woman is in critical condition after being shot outside a downtown Las Vegas casino. It happened about 12:35 p.m. today at the Gold Spike on Ogden Avenue. Police say the woman was in the parking lot with her current boyfriend exchanging custody of her two children with their father, when an argument ensued. The father shot the woman in the head. Police say the boyfriend and others nearby were able to detain the father until police arrived. The suspect was taken into custody. The children were unharmed.
