North Las Vegas Police have now issued an arrest warrant for a missing woman who is with a child in need of medical attention. Back on February 9th, Janette Nelson admitted herself to North Vista Hospital under the alias of Rochelle Brown and gave birth to a baby girl. After she was discharged, doctors discovered the child has a severe infectious disease that needs immediate treatment. Police and Child Protective Services have reportedly contacted Nelson and urged her to bring the child in, but she refuses to do so and won't tell anyone where she is. Janette Nelson is 30 years-old, black, about 5'4" and 200 pounds. She was last seen in the area of Civic Center and Cheyenne. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Janette Nelson or her baby is urged to call North Las Vegas Police detective Dave Molnar at 633-1779 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
