North Las Vegas Police have made an arrest in last month's shooting between two children. Back on May 21st, a seven-year-old girl was shot and injured by a ten-year-old boy while a group of children were playing at a home on Blackbird Knoll Court, near Centennial Parkway and Revere. Today, the Clark County District Attorney's Office issued arrest warrants for the boy's parents, 39-year-old David Wachner and 41-year-old Karen Wachner. Both are facing charges of child endangerment with substantial bodily harm, child neglect, and reckless endangerment. David Wachner was taken into custody this morning, while Karen Wachner is expected to turn herself in tomorrow.
