Las Vegas Under Fire Weather Watch

Hot dry winds and low humidity are creating near ideal burn conditions for the Las Vegas area. The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for the region from 11 a.m. Tuesday through 11 p.m. the same day. Forecasters say southwest winds gusting at up to 24-miles-per-hour, coupled with low humidity is fueling the fire watch. Today, we can expect sunny skies, temps reaching around 106, and southerly winds gusting to 22-miles-per-hour. Temperatures are forecast to remain in the low to mid 100s into the weekend.
