The board of the Boulder City Museum and Historical Association will meet on Wednesday to discuss what's next in the effort to save the historic Boulder Dam Hotel. Yesterday's vote to provide the hotel a 135-thousand-dollar loan fell short when one of the members of the Boulder City Redevelopment Agency abstained because he was involved with the hotel in the past. The hotel has experienced financial problems after occupancy rates declined from 68 percent to 57 percent this year. The loan would insure it would continue to operate until next June.
