Henderson City Council Seat Filled



The Henderson City Council has appointed Debra March to fill the Ward 2 seat left vacant by Andy Hafen when he became mayor. March is a city planning commissioner and executive director of the UNLV Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies. She was chosen from a field of 14 applicants after two others dropped out. Hafen expressed his pleasure with the appointment. March told the council she's ready to hit the ground running as a team player. She'll be sworn in on at the regular city council meeting on July 21st.
