Lauer Seeks Titus' House Seat

Another challenger has emerged to unseat Democratic Representative Dina Titus in the House. Real estate investor Rob Lauer is seeking the congressional seat in the Third District. Lauer considers himself the best candidate to uphold the conservative torch against Titus. Former state Senator Joe Heck is viewed as the leading Republican in the race. Campaign documents filed with the Federal Election Commission indicate the 39-year-old Lauer has a campaign office in Las Vegas. He says part of bankrolling his campaign will include putting in about 100-thousand dollars of his own money.
