Despite see profit improvement NV Energy will close its Laughlin office. Officials with the company said the closing is an effort to streamline their operations, but many feel the closing will put disadvantaged customers at risk. The company says customers who could be affected by the closing can still pay their bills on line or use two nearby Shop and Pay locations.
