It's something commuters in Henderson have looked forward to for the past 18 months. The city of Henderson opened a new interchange on the U.S. 95 freeway this morning, designed to alleviate traffic congestion near the Galleria at Sunset mall. The opening also gives residents a new highway access road. The new Galleria Drive Interchange between Russell and Sunset roads opened to traffic about 8 a.m. An analysis of the city's traffic indicates about 47,000 vehicles will use the new interchange on a daily basis.
