City Collecting for Clothing Swap

The city of Las Vegas is holding a "Clothing Swap" event this Friday, and is looking to collect items for the event. Clothing donations of gently used or new men’s and women’s professional attire including accessories like shoes, handbags, scarves, belts, jewelry and briefcases will be accepted. The clothing donations will be accepted until 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at several convenient locations:
- Leisure Services Administration Building, 749 Veterans Memorial Drive, 229-6792
- Veterans Memorial Leisure Services Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive, 229-1100
- East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave., 229-1515
- Minker Sports Complex, 275 N. Mojave Road, 229-6563
- Centennial Hills Active Adult Center, 6601 N. Buffalo Drive, 229-1702
- Clark Community School, 3074 S. Arville St., 229-3686
