Singer Bette Midler will soon be bringing the curtain down on her "The Showgirl Must Go On" production at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The entertainer will conclude her current run at the venue on January 31st, completing a two-year contract. In a statement, Midler called it a fabulous two years. She said, quote, "These legs have had such a great run in the desert -- it may be time to haul them to places with more humidity and fewer slot machines." Gary Selesner, president of Caesars Palace, said Midler will always have a home at the resort.
