Boy Pulled From Pool On Life Support

A two-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being pulled from a backyard swimming pool yesterday. North Las Vegas police say the toddler was pulled out of the water and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was started until paramedics arrived at the home at 13-hundred East Brooks Avenue, near Cheyenne Avenue and Civic Center Drive. An earlier statement had said the boy had died. The child was taken to University Medical Center. Family members say they were eating lunch in the house when they noticed the toddler had vanished.
