Two men have died in the fast four days while police officers tried to subdue them. The Clark County Coroner's office have not released the cause of deaths yet, but no weapons were used on the part of Metro Police. Both men also had underlying health conditions. Wednesday's incident involved a man who police were told was off his medications and acting erratically. The man had opened gas lines and police had to use a lateral vascular neck restraint to subdue and handcuff him. The suspect stopped breathing, was transported to UMC, but later died. Sunday's incident involved a man who police believe had a knife. They patted him down when he began resisting officers. Officers grabbed his arms and legs and handcuffed him and shortly after he stopped breathing. Eight Officers and one sergeant have been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.
