The owner of Las Vegas of the Prive Las Vegas nightclub has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protect. The Miami-based company made the filing Wednesday in U.S. Bankruptcy court in the Southern District of Florida. It also owns Prive's sister lounhge, The Living Room. Court filing indicate Prive Las Vegas has less then 50-thousand dollars in assets and one-to-ten million dollars in liabilties. A bankruptcy judge signed off on an emergency motiont to allow the clubs to continue paying employees. Court papers indicate the owner of the clubs intend to keep them open.
