NLV Expected to Pay Manager Severance

If North Las Vegas City Manager Gregory Rose leaves his position, it will cost the city more than $337,000 in severance pay. A city council vote is scheduled next month on whether to accept Rose's resignation under those terms. Citing the state of the economy, Mayor Shari Buck says she'll vote against the agreement. But Councilman Richard Cherchio says Rose should go, arguing it's time for a change in management.
